Can Someone ELSE Do IT?

Real Estate Blogs have grown in popularity over the years for many reasons, sure it gives you a voice and a place to connect with and engage consumers and yes it helps you build a brand but the main reason to have a real estate blog is to generate – leads. After all, if all of the aforementioned stuff takes place┬ábut it doesn’t produce any leads then it is just a time suck right?

There are many ways to grow your real estate business today. The old school ways still work: door knocking, cold calls, direct mail, print real estate books, all of these still work IF YOU WORK IT. One of the ways to grow your real estate business where your marketing is always working for you is by leveraging the Internet with a real estate blog. Today over 90% of consumers start their home search online, most head online long before contacting a real estate agent or even a lender. A good real estate blog can help you get “found” online by these consumers.

You can have the nicest, absolutely stunning, ridiculously expensive real estate blog and still FAIL as in not generate any leads. The reason? Content. Content is what goes into your real estate blog. Content is to a real estate blog what gas is to an engine. Without it, you ain’t getting very far. Content is blog posts, video, podcast’s, PDF’s IDX and on and on. Content is what consumers are looking for when they go online. Most consumers head to the Internet to gather information or solve a problem. The right content can help them find you.

So content is imperative, but not just any content. It seems like almost every day a real estate agent asks me about blogging which is in effect creating content, only they want to know this: “Can Someone ELSE Blog For Me?” Here is my answer.

Prior to the housing BOOM I was one of the top sales reps in Phoenix, the housing IMPLOSION ended that. It ended it because I didn’t have relationships with asset managers or national banks who dictated title. Now that the market is recovering, now that there are traditional sales, I have built my business back up largely on the strength of my real estate blog. I don’t go into real estate offices and bother you, you hate that. I don’t cold call you, you hate that too. I don’t sponsor large elaborate lunches in your real estate office so I can tell you why I am better that my competition, you don’t care. But you will be fully engaged when you find my real estate blog online, you will see my value then and I won’t have to SELL YOU at all. Today real estate agents around the world contact me about real estate marketing: video, WordPress, blogging, video editing, social media and more. They find me online. My real estate blog does most of the work for me. I joke and say “I love going to bed at night cause’ I can’t wait to see how many leads I have in the morning”. It’s true. Today, by the time a real estate agent comes to meet with me, he/she already knows what I do and how I can help because they have spent time reading my articles and watching my videos – on my real estate blog. The same is possible with you and your ideal client. You just need to learn HOW to create the content they are looking for. We can help. Please fill out the form below.
