If you are a real estate agent here in Phoenix that has been to our (Grand Canyon Title) real estate marketing classes or a real estate professional around the country that has visited this website or watched any of my real estate marketing videos, you have heard me reference something called a “HUB”. You are on my HUB – my website.
My HUB is where I create content for my ideal client – YOU – to find. I create articles and downloadable PDF’s here and I embed my videos here on my website. I do this to drive my ideal client – YOU – to my website. How ever you originally found me, it was likely from a search engine – Google, Yahoo, Bing, YouTube or a social media channel – Facebook, Twitter, Linkedin, Pinterest, StumbleUpon etc. However you originally found me – WELCOME! I call it HUB Marketing. I create the content my ideal client – YOU – is looking for and it brings you back here where you can read the article(s) or watch the video(s).
The HUB Marketing model allows those that find me online – YOU – to learn more about me and how I can help you without ever having to SELL myself. This is HUGE because I know you, like me, hate to be SOLD TO. You, like me, want to gather information and make up your own mind, which this model allows you to do rather easily. Everything hinges on a website that works though. A website that is designed to get found online. A website that is mobile and video friendly, a website that is easy to optimize. For me that website is WordPress (self hosted), it is my HUB.
Now let’s talk about you and your real estate website. IF you have one I am guessing you have not added any content to it in some time if ever. By content I mean articles, videos, PDF’s, images, podcasts and more. The “about me” section doesn’t count as content by the way. Most real estate agents haven’t added content to their real estate websites because they can’t. Their websites are hard to use or manage or they don’t support video (so why try) and most are not even mobile friendly which is a HUGE problem because I know you, like me, surf the internet and watch videos on your smartphone or other mobile device. You know who else does that? Surfs the internet and watches video and monitors their social media channels? Consumers. Your ideal client. Today over 90% of consumers use the internet during the home buying process. Many of them are searching for homes for sale. Can they find your website? Can they find YOU?
Today I would like to introduce you to a new tool that will help you build your real estate business. By “build” I mean get consumers to your real estate website where they can learn more about you and the problem(s) you solve, where they can search for homes and watch videos and even (if they choose to) do it all from their mobile device. Today I would like to introduce you to iFoundAgent.com
A New Tool To Help You Build Your Real Estate Business – iFoundAgent mytitleguy.com/2013/01/ifound…
— Stephen Garner (@mytitleguy) January 11, 2013
Full disclosure, I am one of the founders of iFoundAgent. Remember when I left the title industry for a year? iFoundAgent is what I/we were working on. We took all the complaints real estate agents had about their websites (well most of them anyway) and all the challenges with an unfriendly IDX that only really worked if YOU could someone to your website and created iFoundAgent. We formed iFoundAgent to help real estate agents just like you compete against your biggest competitor – Z.T.R. If you don’t know what that stands for do a Google search for any address in AMERICA and you will likely find one or all of them in the 1st, 2nd or 3rd position. You have likely (at one time) received a call from a buyer that wanted to see a home for sale they found on Z.T.R. that sold 6 MONTHS AGO!
If you would like more information about iFoundAgent, please visit iFoundAgent.com. P.S. Although I am a founder of iFoundAgent, I do not oversee or manage day to day operations, nor do I have anything to do with sales etc.
There are consumers looking for you online RIGHT NOW, they just don’t know you exist. Today, leads go to the best real estate MARKETERS not necessarily the best real estate AGENTS.
