How should you market your real estate business? Should you leverage online real estate marketing? Should you use Facebook? Twitter? Blog? What about Video? OK…so if so, how often? What kind of information? When?
The world of marketing can be vey confusing and certainly time consuming. Especially online real estate marketing. A recent ActiveRain survey of 1,910 REALTORS found referrals are the most effective form of real estate marketing [I would agree] online real estate marketing is a close 2nd. If only there was some kind of blueprint that covered a period of time – say, 6 months – that would help us market our businesses. If only.
Below is probably the LARGEST infographic I have ever seen – it’s HUGE! It doesn’t specifically apply to online real estate marketing but you can easily translate the activities into those relative to your business or niche. Whatever real estate marketing you are currently doing (or thinking of doing in 2012) is here: social media, email, lead generation, search engine optimization, search engine marketing, conversion, analytics, content marketing and pay per click. Some of these overlap. For instance, while writing this post I am using search engine optimization [keywords], content marketing [content], conversion [form at bottom], analytics [Google will tell me how many of you found this and how long you read it], social media [I will post on Facebook, twitter, linkedin, stumbleupon and a host of others]. It all comes together for an effective real estate marketing plan You will notice that all efforts point towards a landing page. Why? All of our marketing efforts should features call to action. Tell them what you want them to do and the value for doing so. When possible, use compelling calls to action.
