It started with a RT. In 2011 more and more of us are meeting, not in person but on Twitter. “RT@TheRealDanSfera [my article]”. I thought, “cool, I wonder who this guy is”. I had never heard of him, his name did not sound familiar, curiosity got the best of me. I opened Hootsuite for iPhone and clicked his Twitter handle.
@TheRealDanSfera. He didn’t look familiar. His profile said he is not a REALTOR®, Real estate Agent, Attorney, Title Company or Title Rep. He is not my typical follower. He is not my ideal client. It said:
Will own the LA Clippers! Entrepreneur. Run a clinical trials blog, a psychiatry blog and a business/sports/music blog.
I thanked him “@TheRealDanSfera, thanks for the RT!” and went on my way. Few days later, another RT. Him again. We started a dialogue, not in person but on Twitter. Naturally I started returning the favor [if you can call it that] by RT’ing some of his articles and posts.
The dance began.
Over the last few months we followed each others Tweets, I guess you can say the BRO-mance is on. His name is Dan Sfera, and what @TheRealDanSfera had used on me, is what I had been teaching real estate agents in the Phoenix Metro area. How To Build A Relationship Via Twitter. When @TheRealDanSfera RT’d one of my articles I naturally wanted to know who he was and what he does. He used Inbound Marketing to bring me to him and it only took one click of the RT button.
Dan started watching some of my Youtube videos on what I believe is the future of real estate marketing and title company marketing – the Internet, specifically, getting found online by your ideal client – when they have a need. He sent me a Tweet the other day when I was at the NY Giants/Cardinals game, watching my Giants beat up on the AZ Cardinals [he did give himself up by the way] and said he wanted to interview me [over Skype®] for his business blog. I was only too happy to oblige. Least I can do for a friend right? Here is my interview with Dan Sfera, a guy who will own the LA Clippers. We talked about title company marketing and real estate agent marketing. WordPress and Video.
We talked about me, my business in the title industry, why I left, PRO-Found and of course, what I am doing now. We talked about real estate marketing tips. He gets it.
