What Would You Do To Save Your Home?When the going gets tough, the tough get going. This is particular to a lot of things. A lot. But real estate? Sure why not. The economy has knocked even the most careful homeowner for a loop. Those that did everything right – didn’t use their home as an ATM – were still negatively effected. But you can’t crush the American spirit – to find a way. Hello, my name is Stephen Garner. I am a former title rep for a national title insurance company in Phoenix Arizona.

We hear stories all the time of people walking away from their homes AKA Strategic Default. We hear the stories of the short sales and the attempted loan modifications. We hear the stories. The stories of those losing their homes. But what about the ones that are fighting tooth and nail to keep their homes. Those that are willing to try anything to just hold on. We don’t hear many of these kind of stories, not unless there is some kind of controversy to the story – a homeowner that is willing to wash cars, clean homes or pan handle is not good news. Ya know what is though? A couple in Litchfield Park Arizona who decided to try something different – something unique. Something [in my opinion] genius.

Dottie Sosnicki and her custom home builder husband own a 17,000-square-foot home in Litchfield Park, Arizona and needed some way to continue making their house payments and other bills, so what did they do?


It appears their idea is paying off. There are plenty of people that would have simply thrown their arms up in the air and given up, not this couple, great to hear how some are looking outside the box to save their home. Kudos to you.

I suspect we will hear about this story again real soon, I bet every news outlet in the Phoenix Metro area will will cover the follow up to this story when the couples HOA tries to put an end to this new business model.
