Case in point, My wife was in a a car accident 2 weeks ago. Everyone was fine but her Toyota Sequoia was banged up pretty good. We rented a 2010 Buick Enclave from Enterprise Rent A Car in Scottsdale, Arizona. 2 days ago I saw on the national news that the car was recalled because of faulty seat belts in the back seat. I have 2 children! I was surprised I received no call asking us to return the car or at least be aware of the recall so I like a good digital citizen, went to Twitter. Below is what happened, and what happened after that.
This shows the importance of monitoring Twitter in marketing title, real estate and for your business. Realtors and title companies should be monitoring their keywords, Name, Niche, Brand. It used to be someone unhappy could tell 100 people max about a bad experience, with the internet that could easily be 700,000. I use Hootsuite to monitor keywords as well as Google Alerts. This underscores the importance of monitoring. Enterprise was able to address the situation immediately and has proven that they do care about their customers.
