Now, before you start complaining let me ask you this: if you were looking for a home on the internet, would you prefer to see pictures or watch a video?

Over the last 10 years that I have been working in title – helping real estate agents like yourself grow your business – I have seen more real estate marketing strategies than I can count. Direct mail, post cards, flyers, billboards, branded pens and pads, labels, magnets, homemade pies, pumpkins, Christmas trees, sphere of influence, networking groups, pop by’s, personal notes, PTA, websites, SEO, CraigsList, do I need to keep going?

While real estate marketing strategies have changed one thing has remained the same – actually grown – people are more antisocial today than they were yesterday and they will likely be more antisocial tomorrow than they were today. Call someone, anyone, do they answer the phone? Most likely – NO. I know that I hate talking on the phone. Judging from the number of phone calls I receive each day I can see you guys are finally getting the point. People do not necessarily want to talk to you! This is one of the reasons online real estate marketing is so effective – you can help someone find you when they are actually interested in not only talking, but talking to you!

When it comes to getting found online, video is the end all be all. In my opinion – it’s all that and a bag of chips, it’s TWO SNAPS UP IN A CIRCLE [YES! I did just go there with some Men On Films - Classic!],it’s STOOPID. STOOPID is SICK and SICK is GOOD, long story. Video is a forward thinking real estate agents best friend. I love video, You know who else loves video? CONSUMERS. If a picture says 1000 words, how many does a video say? what – at least a million right? You can convey your value, your worth, your knowledge and experience without having to talk about how amazing you are – easily with video.
