You know from your own behavior that when you need something – anything – you [most likely] go to the Internet. Not just the Internet, you most likely go to something called a search engine, like Google. Looking for a new pair of tires at a good price – Google. Getting “found” online at the exact moment a consumer has identified a need for your product or service is the preferred method of growing a real estate business for thousands of forward thinking real estate professionals. Yes, direct mail, door knocking and cold calls work [to some degree] but these marketing methods rely on a future need. A well written and optimized article on a good real estate website will hang around for years – just waiting for someone to find it. I talk to real estate agents all the time about the importance of having a website, not just a website but a good rel estate website that works – like WordPress.
