I’m Unemployed and happy about it?

It’s March 1st 2011 and I’m unemployed.  That’s right, I have officially joined the ranks of the unemployed.  Today was the day that I resigned my post as “a business development manager for a national title insurance company in Phoenix Arizona”.  It’s been a great 10 years in the title industry here in Phoenix, but {as they say} all good things must come to an end.

I’ve been planning this new life for sometime.  It’s a little scary. For the 1st time in my post college life, I don’t have anything to do tomorrow.  Normally {when I had a 9-5} We {my wife and I} got up at 6:00, spent some time with my 7 year old daughter and my 2 year old son, made them breakfast, oversaw my daughter’s choice in clothes, watched her brush her teeth {gotta brush those teeth ya now} and walked her to the bus before I made myself breakfast, OK’d my choice of clothes with the wife {long story}, brushed my teeth and went to work. Did I mention I took a shower?  If not – I did.

Now that I am unemployed, I’m wondering what I will do tomorrow?  It’s been years since I have been subjected to the likes of Jerry Springer, Rikki Lake, Montel, Judge Judy, Sally Jesse Raphael, Donahue, and CourtTV, will these shows be waiting for me tomorrow or will I have to resort to an all day Netflix-athon {yes I made it up} or my old standby’s – Gears Of War 2 & Call Of Duty Black Ops on my XBOX 360?

What to do, what to do.

Oh that’s right, I can’t watch daytime TV, Netflix or play my XBOX 360 tomorrow or any other day. I have a company to grow!  Tomorrow is the 1st day in my 37 years that I will make up as a business owner.  It’s exciting.  I’ve never owned a business before!  Look at me, I’m all excited, I feel like a school kid.  I almost hope I get pulled over on my way to my new job tomorrow, just so I can say “Do you know who I am?  ……. That’s right COPPER, I AM a Co-founder of PRO-Found Marketing!” There I go, off on a tangent….. how RUDE of me, here I am talking all about what I am doing tomorrow without explaining what PRO-Found is {I’m Sorry – My BAD}.

Pro-Found Marketing is all about Inbound Marketing Services, Search Engine Marketing, Search Engine Optimization and Social Media. We combine these essential services with best practice web development and web design to get our clients’ websites found with increased conversion rates.  We help professionals get “found” online – REALTORs, Title Companies, Mortgage Companies, Restaurants, Attorneys, Doctors, ya know…..professionals! We identify our clients “ideal client”, and we create content {text, video, audio, pictures} for them, use our SEO Ninja Skills, back links etc. to get them found at the very moment a consumer has a need for their product or service.  And we are good at it too. Tomorrow is the 1st day that I get to answer my phone “PRO-Found, this is Stephen!” It has a nice ring to it doesn’t it?  “PRO-Found, this is Stephen!” Sorry, I had to say it again, {couldn’t help myself} “PRO-Found, this is Stephen!” OK, NO MORE.

So, now that I am not “a business development manager for a national title insurance company in Phoenix Arizona” anymore, I need a new title for my blogs, video’s, tweets, fb updates BUSINESS CARDS, {I have my own business cards now too – how exciting!}  What should my new title be?  “Co-founder, PRO-Found Marketing” sounds, well……Boring.  Sounds almost like a dude in a suit, and I don’t like suit’s.  I need a good title.  I know!

Web 3.0 Engagement JEDI

PRO-Found Marketing

I’m going to bed, I can’t wait to wake up as a business owner!

Oh, one more thing.  I Google’d “Web 3.0 Engagement JEDI” and it didn’t exist anywhere on the Internet as of 10:09 PM March 1st 2011.  That means I am the innovator of my new title.  Judging from the popularity of “MyTitleGuy”, rather the variations around it from my competition {long story}, I would expect my new title to catch on pretty fast as well.  Just know, that I am the ORIGINAL “Web 3.0 Engagement JEDI” :-)
